Is there a way for manager to see absence type balance for employees?

Summary:

We have a floating holiday absence type and there is a complex FF to control the usage of it (like how many times a year etc) because of union regulations and the variety of work schedules. We do have a plan connected to it but it is no entitlement type of plan.

A Line manager wants to see how many hours employee has available in this type. Please suggest.
