Absence balance not being updated correctly

An employee withdraws leave request and the absence balance is not being updated correctly and it increased significantly.
We've manually ran the Withdraw Accruals and Balances and Calculate Accruals and Balances to get the correct leave balance. Is there another way so we don't have to run these processes manually? And how do we track leaves withdrawn by an employee?
