Person with Line manager role cant see their own notes in the worksheet of Workforce compensation

Person with seeded Line manager role / custom Line manager role can not see the notes in worksheet of workforce compensation. but with Compensation Manager role that person can see the notes. But we dont want to give Compensation Manager role to Line manager because this role has more flexibility. How can we achieve this ?

Is there any privilege only that can be added to show the notes to Line manager
