Content Types/Items/Subscribers - can access but cannot edit/create

Summary:

In the setup menu Content Types I am unable to click on + Create or Edit.
In the setup menu Content Items I am unable to click on + Create or Edit.
In the setup menu Content Subscribers I am unable to click on Edit.

I have the Privileges 'Manage Talent Profile Content Item' and 'Manage Talent Profile Content Type' several times over, from the role Application Implementation Consultant amongst others.

I can access the setup items but am unable to click on Create or Edit and cannot see why. Is there simply another role or privilege that i require?
