What happens if I withdraw a past dated approved absence from an approved timecard?

we are trying to understand the aforementioned behaviour.

If I already sumbitted the timecard in which an approved absence exist, and my manager approves the timecard, then I withdraw the absence, does the timecard roll back to submitted and needs approval again?
