Lost ability to upload attachments to approved Anytime Document

Hi Experts,

We had designed the option to let managers upload attachments to approved Performance documents (Ex. Anytime document). We were able to achieve this through customization. However, we lost this ability post 24B update. Please advise of what are my options to get this feature back.

This specific document was submitted by manager and was then approved. Now when manager is trying to upload attachment, its greyed out.

Please note that managers are able to upload attachments before submitting the document for approval
