Unable to save Value set in the Degree and Licenses and Certifications sections

Summary:

When configuring Redwood Person Profile sections, the Value Set "Degrees" and "Licenses and Certifications" do not get saved. They appear in the drop-down, but the field blanks out on clicking the "Apply" button. This does not happen to other value sets. Is this a known issue?
