How to enter project information when timecard is created via external time device

Summary:

Hello Team,

We have a requirement where time information is received from a third party vendor, once the time cards are submitted - they are bulk approved and transferred to payroll. Now the project module is also going to be implemented where project data also needs to be added on the timecard and then transferred to projects and payroll module.

There is no employee/manager self service where the time card can be updated with the project information.

Question is - if the time is flowing from the device , how can we automatically populate the the project , task etc. and transfer?
