Accrual plan but allow entire annual hours to report on Day one
Hi Everyone,
Need your inputs here! We have a requirement for an Vacation plan.
- We want employee to report all their annual limit from day one and cant go beyond the limit in Negative.
- Also, we want to view their accrued balance amounts on week on week basis to explain them the prorations and payouts.
Say emp annual limit is 170 based in service the weekly accrual will be 3.2 hrs. we should be allowing the emp to report 170 hrs within Jan month and able to see whats his weekly accrual amounts are.
We are thinking of below Options:
Option:1 Create a Accrual Plan and run weekly accrual, Allow negative balance so emp can reprort entire annual limit on day1, Create a Annual front load plan as read only and populate annual limit on it; read this balance into a validation formula to restrict the absence entry on the accrual plan after 170. Issue with this is maintenance of 2 plans and any adjustments made, those has to be made in both plans. and both the plans has to be in sync all the time.
