Summary:
We need to set tiers(levels) in benefit certificate restrictions –
The rules should be as follows for current employees during enrollment:
- If an employee currently has coverage that is below the GI, they can increase 1 level without EOI (Employee increments set to 10K, GI is 200k).
- Increases that exceed 1 level or exceed the GI amount require EOI.
Example: -
Current coverage amount – 20 k
If the employee raises coverage to 30 k –EOI is not required
If the employee raises coverage to 40 k/ 50k (anything above 40k) - EOI is required
Can this be achieved through configuration changes? Or is there something else we can do?
