Searching Shipments based on attribute value is taking Time to load the results

We are using Shipment Attribute1 to store unique number for similar types shipments and this attribute1 is primary identifier for users to search relevant buy shipments.

We have been noticed that by searching shipments based on this unique number(attribute1) takes time to pull the results. Is there any indexing needed enhance the result loading performance ?

Or how to improve performance to load the results?
