Need most recently changed date only on open enrollment report

Summary: We run 2 Open Enrollment reports, one which we send to our health provider partner.

During the OE period employees may change their benefits up to the deadline. When we run reports, it shows all the dates when staff have made changes. We need only the most recent date of their changes. How can we set parameters in the XX field to show only the most recently changed dates?

I found this reference, but am unsure how to use it in the Advanced SQL filter as it gave an error when used as is.
