Summary:

We have a unique scenario where we have a requirement for all employees who are eligible for a workforce compensation plan should report to a single VP and not the supervisor on their HR record. That VP should in turn then follow the regular supervisor hierarchy up to the CEO. We wrote a compensation hierarchy determination which successfully replaced each employee with the single VP and then another piece of logic for the next line manager so as not to create a recursive hierarchy.
