Person Security Profile not working on Benefits Enrollment Form

Summary:

Person Security Profile not working on Benefits Enrollment Form.

I have created a person security profile based on Area of Responsibility and attached it to my custom role which is a copy of Benefits Administrator role. The security profile is working fine when I go to person management and search employees. The irrelevant employees are not visible there. But when I go to Benefits Administration>Enrollment, all the employees are visible there.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Does the person security profile not work for Benefits module?
