Redwood: What are the prerequisites for loading historical performance documents?

Hello Experts,
The client was requesting to load old performance documents from the last three years into Fusion HCM. What configurations are required for this?
I have already created performance templates for the current fiscal year. In order to load old performance documents, do I need to create another template for the historical documents?
