Performance Feedback, pop up remains open

When performance related feedback is requested the reviewer opens the form from the bell icon notification, the pop-up box opens containing the feedback form. Once feedback has been submitted this then becomes another Cloud homepage window rather than automatically closing, leaving the user with two open windows. Is there a way this can be set up to auto close or not open in a new pop up window initially?
