Is there a solution to this error?

Error: There was a problem processing this person's record because there is no pay period defined for the date rule ALDCPP (BEN-990199) Check the log files. The package procedure in which this error occurred is ben_determine_date.main. The person's name is Smith, John. The effective date is 2024-09-01.

Our payroll folks cannot process the employee's new hire life event and there were no log files. I didn't see anything on Cloud Customer Connect/Google that would solve this.
