Can the categories LOV filter based on the organization selected by user?

Summary:

When an end user is selecting categories, they see all list of values even for categories not tied to items in that inventory organization. It creates confusion and the customer is interested in seeing a refined LOV based on which organization they've already selected for a more direct experience. Below is a screenshot of the two fields looking to be tied. Is there a solution for this already?
