Recommended path for a manager to request individual compensation for direct report

Is there a recommended path for a manager to request IC?

Currently aware of three approaches for manager to request Individual Compensation (IC) for direct reports

1. My Team > Team Compensation > select arrow/ellipses next to direct report > select IC from dropdown
2. My Team > My Team > select ellipses next to direct report > select IC from drop down
3. My Team > My Team > select My Compensation on left hand side of screen > select ellipses next to direct report > select IC from dropdown

We have not yet moved to Redwood for this space, so appreciate that may offer a further/replacement route.
