Absence Sick Leave - Steps to Enable

Hello Experts,

In Absence Module, we are trying to add the functionality that allows employees to submit their sick leaves in UK. The requirements would be "Short term sick leave" for absences up to 7 calendar days and "Long term sick leave" for absences exceeding 7 calendar days.

We have followed the steps present in this link (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/human-resources/24d/fabca/create-sickness-absence-types.html), however it didn't work when testing. The absence type was being displayed, I was able to choose it, however when I tried to select the days and submit the request, it didn't work.
