Removal of Complete Document from the Actions menu for Line Managers.
We enabled the option to lock the Allow document sharing task for calibration in performance document, with the aim of preventing managers from completing and sharing their ratings and comments with employees.
However, we have observed that some line managers are still able to complete the entire appraisal document. This continues to happen despite our request to stop this action after the evaluation phase by the line managers. Upon investigation, we have identified that the root cause of this issue is that line managers have access to complete the performance document, which allows them to skip the share and release lock processes.
