Line Manager can view the check-in scheduled between their direct report and the upline manager

When a manager schedules check-in with their indirect report, the document is visible to the direct manager too (as read-only page). Is this expected functionality?

Is there a way to control this, so that only the employee and the manager+1 can view the document?
