Commerce cloud - does Chase Paymentech support tokenization

Summary:

Reading through documentation provided at : https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/cx-commerce/22d/uoccs/configure-chase-paymentech-integration.html , it states :

The gateway does not support tokenization via the Orbital Customer Profile Management. Therefore, a shopper who provided credit card details when submitting an order must provide the details again for subsequent transactions, such as obtaining a refund

does this mean we cannot utilize chase paymentech to tokenize credit cards for subsequent use - including recurring charges and or subsequent orders ? \

no such limitation is mentioned for Cybersource documentation :

CyberSource Secure Acceptance Checkout API allows Commerce to send payment card data directly from a shopper’s browser to CyberSource. No credit card data is ever stored on Oracle servers. CyberSource securely stores all the card information, replacing it with a unique identifier called a payment token. The payment token is stored on CyberSource servers and in a property of the associated order on Oracle servers. The token is used in all processing tasks associated with the order, including settlement, refunds, and shipping.
