Work schedule and leave of absence linkage

I do have a case of an employee who works a 20 hours week over 4 days.

Their full day on the assigned work schedule is 5 hours HOWEVER when they are requesting leave full day is deducting as 7.5 hours and half day as 3.75 hours which is what the standard working hours is for all other employees in that legal entity.

Is there a way to ensure hours used for absence pulls off the work schedule rather than standard working hours of that legal entity?
