Evaluate absence process - Effective date

Summary:

Does Evaluate Absence process only evaluates the absence with respect to the effective date or does it also look at future dated absences?

Lets say (all submitted absences are approved), Absence is submitted from 3-Dec-2024 to 8-Dec-2024 and another future dated absence submitted from 17-Dec-2024 to 24-Dec-2024. The process effective date run in 7-Dec-2024. Which are all the absences evaluated in this case?
