We have a requirement to restrict user to take absence during the Pay periods if the time card is already submitted. Lets says Time card is approved for the pay period. 01-01-2025 - 01-15-2025. Then user should not take absence between 01-01-2025 to 01-15-2025.
we are planning to write a validation formula at Absence type level and throw an error if they try to submit absence for the period where time card is already submitted. We would like to know anybody has implemented any solution for this case or if anyone has written Validation FF for this case please share it with us.
