Microsoft 365 Outlook Add-In Shared Item Syncing Issue

We have an issue with sharing item in Microsoft Outlook. After sharing an item, it just spins for about 3-4 minutes—sometimes displaying a message that it has timed out. We try entering it again, but then we get a message saying it has already been shared. Additionally, we are no longer receiving the blue box next to our shared emails. To know it has been uploaded, we now have to attempt syncing again, and only then do we get a message showing the shared item.

Steps:

  1. Open email
  2. Open engagement cloud (Microsoft 365 Outlook)
  3. Share Item
  4. Save
  5. Saving takes a long time then timed out
