Clarification on Check-In Document Editability

Hi team,

We’re seeking clarification regarding the ability to edit a Check-In document. Specifically, we’d like to understand if there’s a point in the process where the document becomes locked and further modifications are no longer allowed.

The documentation states that employees or Check-In document managers can edit:

  • Check-in date
  • Questionnaire responses
  • Performance or development goal details (basic info, measurements, tasks, depending on configuration)
  • Notes associated with performance or development goal discussion topics
  • General discussion topics (if included)

However, it’s unclear if there’s a defined stage where the document is finalized and locked for editing. Based on our understanding, there should ideally be a point when modifications are restricted after completion to ensure record integrity.

Howdy, Stranger!
