Balance Should be Taken By the Year's Start Date

Hello,

We are in the process of creating a new absence plan that will grant employees 14 calendar days of leave per year. Below are the key requirements for the plan:

  1. The leave will be granted in a single block of 14 consecutive calendar days, without division.
  2. The leave must be used within the calendar year. Any unused leave will not carry over to the following year.
  3. If an employee's leave spans across two calendar years (e.g., from December 2024 to January 2025), it will be considered as leave for the year in which it begins (in this example, 2024). Therefore, the employee will be entitled to another full 14-day leave in 2025.

Howdy, Stranger!
