Integration between Oracle Cloud and PeopleSoft for Budget Checking
Summary:
We have a client that is implementing Oracle Cloud in Phases. During the current Phase, we plan on having Procurement and Payables in Oracle Cloud, while General Ledger, Commitments Controls and Projects will remain in PeopleSoft.
During the creation of Requisitions, Purchase Orders and/or Invoices, there is a need to validate if the project associated to the transaction (which is a segment of the Chart of Accounts, since PPM is not in Cloud at this time), we need to validate the fund availability for the transactions before apprval can take place.
Does Oracle provide a Webservice call or a way to check Funds availability during the Workflow Approval Process for those transactions?
