Overview:

In our project process, Oracle Maintenance Work Order's (WO) operations are being converted into activities in Oracle Field Service.

Though integration all activities are being created at bucket level. Dispatchers and Managers are manually assigning activities to technicians using the drag-and-drop feature from the bucket to the respective technicians.

We have activities involving multiple technicians. Instead of the Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) teamwork activity setup, we have added the "Assisting" activity type and configured it as a customer activity type group.

The configuration is set up such that the main activity and assisting all activity details match, with the exception of the activity type. For example, if the main activity type is "Install" with WO number 100 and operation sequence 10, the assisting activity will have the same WO number (100) and operation sequence (10) with activity type as "Assisting".
