Why doesn’t HCM-OFS Accelerator sync Talent Profile competencies to Skills instead of Job Profiles?

The current implementation maps Job Profiles in HCM to Resource Skills in OFS, but Job Profiles do not represent the granular competencies of a resource. Competencies in HCM are more aligned with the concept of Resource Skills in OFS.

We are using the out-of-the-box HCM to OFS Accelerator to sync technician and manager data. However, we have observed a mismatch in the intended mapping: Job Profiles in HCM are mapped to Resource Skills in OFS, which are functionally different entities. Competencies within the Talent Profile of HCM employees would be a more appropriate data point to sync with OFS Skills.
