How to restrict Holiday entry in timecard for interns and Part-Time No Benefits

In our client system, we are not using workschedule. Client want to restrict timecard entries should not show holiday entries in timecard for Interns and
and Assignment category (Part-Time No benefits). We tried to create a HCM group with excluding these employees and mapped in Time entry layout component (Holiday) but it is not working. Please advise.
