What's the best way to administer a mass % bonus increase?
We've been asked to configure the capability to mass administer a percentage bonus increase across our workforce.
What would be the best way to set this up in HCM?
1. One-Time Workforce Compensation Bonus Plan? How would we set this up to configure a bonus % of the employee's current base salary, but not modify their current base salary?
2. Utilize payroll elements. We already have a Spot Bonus payroll element configured to use via the Individual Compensation Plans task. It's configured for an Amount right now, so we could leave that as is, manually configure the % in excel and create an HSDL mass upload. Or modify the payroll element to allow for a % and then perform the HSDL? I have yet to figure out how to add a Percent Input Value nor do we know what the business object would be for the HSDL.
