payrolltimetype null in time entry rule fast formula

Summary:

we are trying to create a time entry rule FF which does some validations based on the payroll time type and the time entered. But the payroll time type value is giving null.

INPUTS ARE HWM_CTXARY_RECORD_POSITIONS,
MEASURE,
STARTTIME,
STOPTIME,
PAYROLLTIMETYPE

other variables are showing some values except the payroll type . Is there a way to get this in the FF?
