How can I load a file of contacts and tie them to an existing Sales Lead

I'm in the standard UI and I have a file of contacts and I see I can tie them to an Account, but I need to tie them to existing Sales Leads. I don't see a field in the Contacts template to put the Sales Lead identifier or whatever field it would be called. Thanks for your help!
