How to share a full email chain via the office 365 plugin?

When users share an email from the Office 365 plugin (redwood version), it only shares that specific email, not the full past conversation. I know that once the email is shared, then all subsequent messages are captured. But is there a way to share the full history of an email if the conversation has already taken place?
