Competency full name not displaying on performance eval

We have content items for competencies that only have a name field filled in and that is a 700 character limit. The description field is not populated. When these are pulled into the evaluation, the full title/name field does not display on the page, and then is even shorter when the 'Show competency info' is opened. Cuts off and can only see it when you hover over. Is this something that can be addressed with VBS or is there a limitation on the name field being pulled into performance forms?
