Work Definition is created, but can't create Work Order for the item

Summary:

We created a new org, assigned items, and created a structure. Did all the Work Definition setups and created a Work Definition. There were no problems UNTIL we tried to create a Work Order. The Item does not appear on the list when creating a work order. We even tried creating a non-standard work order and it didn't appear. This is a problem in PROD. We entered a SR last week and have received no response.

We created a new org. Assigned the items and structure to it. Set up the Work Area, Work Center, Resources, and Standard Operation. Then created the work definition. There were no problems UNTIL we tried to create a Work Order. The Item does not appear on the list when creating a work order. We even tried creating a non-standard work order and it didn't appear. If we pick an item, we haven't created a work definition for - it shows up on the list to create a non-standard work order. This is a problem in PROD. We entered a SR
