Copied Line Manager Role Does not have access to "My Team" Tab

Summary:

We need to remove the ability of a category of "Line Manager" to view their direct's compensation details; specifically salary. Our other category of Line Managers need to have this capability intact. I've copied the custom role used for our Line Managers now and created a new category that removes the capability to access compensation.

However, this new role that is the same as the last minues the compensation view, does not show or allow access to the "My Team" tab within the user's homepage. I cannot seem to figure out why this is the case. I've removed no other items from the copied role and have assigned it a data security profile as well. I'm a bit lost and would appreciate any input or help.
