Is it possible to update the time events status to Failed or Delete the Time events using API?

We have time events created in Oracle Time and Labor from Biometric devices. Every punch in or punch out is sent to Oracle via APIs.

The issue currently is when Punch-In is not followed by Punch-Out it creates exception when timecards are created and it waste a lot of time for managers to resolve those exceptions along with their team members.

So using APIs we want to delete one out of consecutive Punch-Ins or change the status of the that Punch-In time event from "New" to "Failed" so that those time events are not processed at all when we generate timecards out of it.
