Standard Partial Accrual period proration rule not working as expected for the front loaded plan

Hello,

I configured the Accrual Absence Plan for the Netherlands as below:

  • Absence Plan Type: Front-loaded accrual
  • Accrual Proration Rule: Based on FTE
  • Partial Period Accrual Proration RuleBased on days spent in plan
  • Accrual Logic:
    • Sequence 1
    • Expression: 1=1 (always true)
    • Accrual Rate: 160 hours/year
    • Repeating Period: Monthly
    • Plan Term: Calendar Year (Starts from 01-Jan)

One employee has an FTE of 0.8, so the annual accrual was correctly calculated as 128 hours. The employee left the organisation on April 30, 2025. I expected the system to deduct 85.33 hours as part of the periodic accrual adjustment, but it only deducted 60.32 hours. I am unsure how the system arrived at this value. Can someone explain what I might have missed in the configuration? Is there anything specific I should check?

Howdy, Stranger!
