Clarification on 90-Day Activity Retention Period in Oracle Field Service

Hi Oracle Community,

I’m looking for clarification on how the 90-day activity retention period works in Oracle Field Service (OFS), both in the UI and when using the REST API (e.g., via Postman).

Let’s assume:

  • activity retention period is set to 90 days.
  • The date range of interest is Jan 1 to Mar 31 (90 days).
  • I log in to the instance on April 5.

I have the following questions:

  1. Visibility of Past Activities (UI + API):
    Will I be able to view or fetch (via REST API/Postman) any activities (Completed, Scheduled, Cancelled, Pending, Started, On-hold etc.) that were scheduled or completed between Jan 1 and Mar 31
