Eligibility Criteria "Assignment to Use" field not Editable

Summary

I am trying to update the Assignment to Use field on the Performance Eligibility Profile in order to assign performance docs to the "primary employee assignment only - enterprise". The field does not allow me to edit. Is there a way to override the default setting to set Assignment to Use to Primary Assignment only? I am able to change this setting on the Goals Eligibility Profile with no issues. Not sure why it is restricted on Performance.
