SalesProfileStatus
Summary:
Can I use the standard 'SalesProfileStatus' field on the Account object to mark accounts as Active or Inactive?
My goal is to prevent any new records—such as Opportunities, Appointments, or Leads—from being associated with an account once it is marked as Inactive. However, setting the 'SalesProfileStatus' field to "Inactive" does not seem to enforce this restriction; I can still assign new records to the account.
Is there a way to truly deactivate an account so that it cannot be linked to new Opportunities, Appointments, Leads, or similar objects?
