Calendar requirement for Customer accruals in Channel Settings

Summary:

As of 25B, the Calendar maintained in Channel Setting for Customer accrual must begin Jan 1 and end Dec31. This is a new restriction. We were able to set the calendar in prior releases and the calendar did not begin Jan1 and End Dec31.

  • What is the reason for now requiring it to be Jan 1-Dec31 for Channel? 
  • For all other modules, we have 1 accounting calendar which does not start Jan 1 and end Dec 31. What will be the accounting impact to the GL for using a separate calendar only for Channel? 
  • This is related to SR 4-0000742962. Support team requested to ask these questions in customer connect. Thank you
