Queries around Outlook Integration with CX Sales

WRT this link, I would like to know the core differences between the options provided. Please advise.
Kindly confirm/correct the understanding:
Option#4 - is the standard configuration that is using Oracle Email. Inbound email needs to have the forwarding rules setup on company (clients) email server.
Option#3 is like Option#4 but the SFTP server is the Customer Exchange instead of Oracle. Please share any configuration guides.
Option#2 - In this scenario, it is assumed that the customer is subscribed to O365 services and using MS Outlook/Other clients for email? How is this configuration done? Please share document links if any.
