Oracle Integration for Oracle SaaS Licensing/Subscription Model

edited Jul 11, 2025 5:41AM in Integration 1 comment

OIC for SaaS documentation says that "every integration you create must have an endpoint in an Oracle Cloud SaaS application".

Provisioning and Administering Oracle Integration Generation 2

Someone please help me clarify below Points :

  1. Does this mean every integration (scheduled integration/app driven) should have a SaaS endpoint? What if there is no SaaS call , would the integration fail to activate ?
  2. Does it mean that in every integration flow there should be one SaaS endpoint (for example, one inbound flow from a source system to ERP Cloud can have a parent and child integration. And child integration has a ERP cloud endpoint but parent integration is just for scheduling and does not have any ERP cloud endpoint).

Howdy, Stranger!
