Is there a way to see historical time card status?

Summary:

For our yearly audit, we need to show that workers' payslips match the time entered and approved on their time cards. We have a couple of workers whose time cards are in a saved state, but they have payslips for these time cards, meaning that they must have been approved at one point. One of our admins thinks that they accidentally saved the time cards when viewing them after they were approved and processed in payroll.

We need to prove that the time cards were in an approved state before the admin accidentally saved them. Unfortunately, we do not have time card auditing enabled. Is there a report, table, or diagnostic that can be run that will show the history statuses of a time card?
