Recommendation to store Projects and Tasks details in OTL
Summary:
We are working on implementing OTL standalone without integrating with Payroll or Projects module in Phase1 due to critical timelines. Plan is to extend and integrate with Projects module in Phase2.
As per requirement, we have to maintain Projects and dependent Tasks in OTL for reporting. We have created Project Name and Task Name value sets and extend that in Time Entry Layout.
Project Name, Project Manager (Active Person Name from HCM and should be a dropdown), Project Type (Hardcoded LOVs), Function Code, Financial Code (GL segments and should be a dropdown for selection), Project Cap Eligibility - Yes/No, Start Date and End Date, Enable Flag. Every project has multiple tasks. Task Name, Task Enable Flag, Task Start Date and End Date, Task Charge Code.
